A tourist apartment  in the picturesque heart of Ghent referring to photography

This apartment on the first floor of a large house from the early XX was built after a design by the Ghent based architect and artist Jean Hebbelynck, whose palmares includes the imposing bank building nearby. The apartment, which was completely renovated in 2013-2014, is located on the same picturesque square where once lived Jacob van Artevelde (1290-1345), called 'Kalandeberg'. Currently in a quiet and low-traffic area, and within walking distance of the main historical attractions of the city center of Ghent. For example, opening the bedroom window in Studio Guarda La Fotografia offers a view to the 14th century Saint Bavo Cathedral.

Ecology and photography

To reduce the ecological footprint, the authentic interior doors and oak parquet has been maintained in Studio Guarda La Fotografia. Also, furniture
crafted from reclaimed wood was given a prominent place. In addition, there is a clear reference to photography and attributes related to photography, in particular to the work of photographer Filip Naudts and his eponymous photo studio GUARDA LA FOTOGRAFIA. Finally it's also worth mentioning that guests do have the opportunity to participate in a selfie contest for a chance to win an extra free night stay.

With an area of ​​45 sqm this completely renovated and furnished apartment includes a closable bedroom, a living room, and a private kitchenette and bathroom. A Smart TV is provided, as well as a videophone and free Wi-Fi. In the kitchen, a built-in fridge freezer, built-in microwave oven and induction cooker.
